Hi people. I'm Izzy, moved to tx from Pakistan last summer and found afterlife sometime in october, went back next night and I think I've been there 6 or 7 times since.
My first couple of weekends there can only be described as an overloaded attack on my senses matched only by sessions I had with Sufi mystics in the Karakoram mountains consuming vast amounts of substances that are legal up there :). I mention that because I remember a kid walking past me wearing a mask and carrying a dangling cross and me in my inebriated state thinking I must've found heaven in the mountains, and this must be where the devil lives lol. (kinda ironic considering I don't believe much in religion). All in all, it was one of the best weekends i've ever had.
if you met me my first couple of times I was the kid in the black coat handing cigs to any and all who asked or didnt ask for one and talking about the trippier parts of my homeland that you dont hear about in the news. if you met me after that, I'd rather you hadnt lol

btw, I met some cool people on NYE who gave me a ride back to arlington for the afterparty and then dropped me off at my place after my friends left me stranded. Guys like that who embody PLUR are what make me want to come back weekend after weekend.

It reminds me of someone that was close to me . . . .
Also I met sunshine last weekend too, I gave her a lightshow and a highlighter design and she gave me one of her bracelets with her name... hehe.
She's really nice. I have not seen her post here though.
