Im about to go for my first time tonight! im excited, ive heard about how awesome this please is. now ive ben 17 for awhile now but i dont have a state issued ID. so i was wondering if any of yall know if i can use like my birth certificate and like my school ID?

Because theres this new rule were if your failing school you cant get your drivers license, and i just dont have time to go get a picture id, and im just going with a few of my friends like alex, and cameron, and someother people.

frankly dude I think your full of it. There is no law in the state of Texas that prohibits you from getting a driver's license if you are failing classes. My gut is telling me that you are under the age of 17.

just to let you know, Due to the large influx of people using fake documents to enter the club, We may be starting a new policy, NO STATE ID, NO ENTRY.

Leave it to the few to ruin it for the many.

Still doesn't stop you from getting a state ID, it doesn't have to be a licence. In fact, its a state law to have some form of state or federal ID on you if you are not accompanied by a legal guardian or adult. Its not really enforced, but it is law. I can see them not granting you a Licence, but an ID, thats just retarded, think of a better story next time.

Also, don't even think about jumping the fence. We don't take kindly to that, and you will be caught.

if the driver's ed was done at your school then I can see how that would happen. However, there is nothing preventing you from going to the DMV and taking the test and getting a license. For the time being you may be able to get in using a birth certificate with a student ID, but like Tim said we have had a number of forgery's lately, so there is no guarantee. I would just get a state ID it only costs ten dollars, that's if you can't pass a driver's license exam.
