yeah.. totally get it.
i had to stop being a smart ass to people i didn't really know. i had to learn to stop saying ,"your mom" after a question was asked.
i learned to switch it too,

I rly dont feel bad about the whole "your mom" thing. It's so non-specific to any one thing, that I really couldn't imagine it honestly being a personal shot.

any joke like that isn't meant to really hurt, so it should never have to be apologized for... i did that to a good friend of mine & when he said his mom was dead i just told him i'll try to remember next time & he knew it wasn't a shot. i still let it slip sometimes & it doesn't bother him.
