So I went for the first time on Saturday, and I have to say I had the best time of my life. First rave. It was great. Is there an event this weekend?

Yeah, I lost my little flier thingy.
But my friend's birthday is this week and I'm wondering if Afterlife would be a good spot even if there isn't a special event.

I second the motion. Events at afterlife are great, but so are normal nights. On a normal night, there may only be one hundred-two hundred people at the most, but its much easier to get into more personal conversations :).

ive yet to go on a normal night
been meaning to but just havent
my and Pick are talkin about going either this weekend or next though
and we are defenetly there on the 12th for shpongle (or whatever its called)
ive heard that normal nights are just as fun if not more (depends on your definition of fun, i guess. More people and more danceing, or less people more interacting with each other)

idk Shuman normal nights at the club aren't what they used to be? Remember when everyone (slackers) would show up and we'd just kick it...making fun of everyone (for obvious reasons) then head to crackcreek or your place and kick it until the morning, lather rinse & repead saturday XD
But now (basing this off of the last few times I've been in town and stopped by on a normal night) it's weird, like not everyone I'm used to seeing is there,plus there's a whole new group of people I've never met and don't really care to meet...I miss it  The good ol daze

I miss some of the good ole days too
but the new crowd is pretty cool
there are even some new kids that sit around with us and make fun of the obviously oblivious amongst the crowd, hehehehe |

I will always heart my good friends, but that's what I love about Afterlife it is constantly changing!! If it was the same Cheers crowd over and over again I probably would not go as much as I do. There are still a few old friends for me to hang out with, but every 6 months or so we get an infusion of new people. Some of the new people are deuche bags and we do not socialize with them, but a lot are pretty interesting people. I like it that I can go to the club and know 20 or 30 people. Some are old skool, some are new, but all are fun, interesting friends :).
