im starting to go to afterlife regularly after i went to this last bikini bash.
man that was awesome! and i gotta say, afterlife blows lizard lounge out of the water ten fold! just trying to meet some regulars and maybe some new friends! just thought id drop in and say hi!

Hello Haze and welcome to the club and forums! First on the list of dont's: Afterlife is a legal dance club that plays EDM (Electronic Dance Music). We are not apart of the rave scene. The rave scene in Texas is very underground and is made up of an assortment of illegal parties in various cities, with the occasional field rave out in the country.

First on the list of Do's: Get to know the website. Listen to the music, check out the pictures, and get to know some of the regulars Smile

nice to have met you all. im pretty open minded when it comes to music. so far from what i understand, your right its not "techno" its electronic music for sure. thank you for clarifying the difference between "raves" and just a club. ive been three times so far and loved it everytime. especially bikini bash. man that was awesome. a little grotesque but still, i had a blast. ill be up there this saturday for sure. ive been the last two fridays and from what ive heard saturday is the day to go. but ive realllly gotten into dubstep. but ill listen to any kind of electro. music. as long as the beat is solid and the transitions are smooth its all good. being able to dance to it is a plus as well.

You've already got the right idea, and are going for the right reasons, which is to dance, have fun, and enjoy yourself..... that's a lot more than I can say for most. <_<

awesome. yeah just like you said im going for good times and good music. trying to get a hold of different styles of music. i know it may be obsolete from the fancy gloves but im getting into glow sticking. but anyways just thought id drop in and say hi!! OH! just out of curiosity. does life only run during the weekends and only special events during the week? but anyways, if you recognize me at the club be sure to say hello. maybe im weird but i love warm people and warm welcomes C:

Welcome to the sight and club Haze. Say hi anytime if you see me in person although I won't be frequenting as much as I usually do. By the way if you are getting into glowsticking you should check out www.glowsticking.com.. that site helped me out alot 4 years ago.
