I just moved to Arlington this week and someone told me to check this place out. Along with a lizard place.
I used to go to the warehouse dance parties at home all the Time. So I'm semi familiar with the 'scene' but Dallas os much bigger than Louisville so I'm not exactly sure what im gonna be getting into.
But yeah I have no friends here yet, so let's be friends? Lol

Any place with lizard in the name kinda creeps me ouy anyway.
What night is good for dubstep and DnB?
And do cops normally shut this place down? We hardly ever went a night at the compound back home that didn't get busted. So we had to start hunting, it was fun the first two times then It was boring

First off, welcome to the DFW (Dallas-Ft. Worth) area. If you're looking for quality EDM in ALL genres, you've come to the right place. Afterlife is the best EDM-themed dance club in the area, bar none. The DJs are top-notch, the people are friendly, and you will feel like you're part of a big family. Don't go to the Lizard Lounge, unless you like overpaying for overrated DJs and wading through club rat vomit.

welcome to the forum and to DFW. I am Stephen and pleased to meet you. I have heard of the absinthe lounge, and been there a couple of times. It is a tiny cramped bar, that occasionally has a dj playing on the weekends. The bar/club has some interesting decorations, but the drinks are very very overpriced. There is no room to dance at all. You go to the absinthe lounge to be scene around town and listen to some "OK" down tempo or ambient EDM. They had a dnb party there back in December of last year, and Titan, System and Plan B all threw down amazing sets, but like I said there was no room to dance. So the place was just really packed.

Welcome...I'm Tony...I've been to Lizard Lounge and I think the Life is gonna be a better venue overall...I've also been to Absinthe Lounge and it's a small cramped place that's more of an uptight classy place and worse than the Lounge...hope to see you at the Life sometime soon...
