sup yall i'm matt, been coming back around lately and thought i'd check out the forums. used to come down to Afterlife nearly every weekend 2004-2006ish, and before that at Heaven, some out of this world times. Anyway, live in Denton, student at UNT, etc. etc.

look forward to meeting more of yall, most of my peoples from back in the day seem to be gone now.

not much for myspace anymore, but facebook to the masses doesn't seem quite appropriate

mostly upper level Anthropology classes, just finishing up my undergrad so i can start grad school in the fall. ya i was hoping to find some people from up here that frequent afterlife

is the 4am closing time more or less set in stone these days? i remember back in the day not leaving til 6 or 7 some nights (mornings i guess?).

yes, it is 4am, period. the days of partying till noon have been gone for years now, unfortunately.

however, this way we dont have the problem of being blinded by excessive sun every time we leave the club

It used to Open at 4am lol. Thats when I 1st started going. And its now from 10-4. Unless you are one of the lucky people that stays for the AfterHours.

ya i hear you bean, i remember on valentine's day one year it snowed and iced, we left in the late morning and were met with quite the rude and bright awakening.
