Hello All! I moved to the big D in June. Durring the day I'm a graduate student but I've been spinning poi for about a year or so for fun. I'd like to add fire now. Anyone know a good place to spin fire?

I heard about Afterlife and the webpage looks awesome! Full of fun luvin people. What is a good time to go? (Kinda shy)

another good place to spin fire is at The Across the Street Bar on Yale Blvd just east of 75. Every wed. night they have the Drum Jam, and a bunch of fire spinners congregate there and spin in the back courtyard area

I didn't make it last week.
Things got all kinds of messed up
and I went home to sleep.

I need to go with everyone
over xmas break.

I agree Stilleto, you need to check it out when a bunch of us are up there. This past wed, there was at least a dozen slackers up there, and it really made the night for me. In general though its a really nice break from the usual school/work/9-5 grind culture. Afterlife on the weekends plus drum jam on wed = Happy Stephen :).

well my mom gets kinda strict,
I can't be out late on weeknights,
stupid still being 17.

oh nevermind
I can't over xmas break

one wed is xmaseve
the other wed is newyears eve
&& we'll all be up at life.

but maybe I can talk her outta it
&& I have 2 weeeks for xmas break.
