I went to Afterlife last night (friday 10th) for the first time ever.

I've never been to a rave before and wanted to try it. What I wasn't entirely prepared for though was how young everyone was. Don't get me wrong, you were all great to me after you decided I wasn't a cop, and "The entertainer" told me about the website to check out where I found out it's 17 and up. But I'm also older, and that place is for you I should let you have it without me there lol.

The point I'm trying to get to, is that I've just recently turned 30, but my first experience was so incredible I want to do it again.

Are there any raves like 21+ only? If so where? I honestly just want to have a fun time and just dance... but I also don't want to have to worry about how old people are. and feel like a creeper!

Age is just a number, and you will realize that there are a lot of us older crowd there if you just look for us. I'm turning 36 in 3 days, 21+ parties are called bars. Not many 21+ events that are held in warehouses around here if anywhere.

there are no raves period
at least no at afterlife or any other legal venue
there are dance parties and events but no raves
afterlife is a legal venue and is a dance club
we are not a rave

Dude don't worry about the age factor... The older people tend to be the best people to chill with anyways...

If you're chill and not a pervert, no one will mind the age.
I just made a really great friend up at the club and he's 31 years old.

Agreed with everyone's above posts. Age isnt a factor at Afterlife. Alot of people up there are more chill than most people realize. Just enjoy yourself.

The older crowd at Afterlife is usually the best, imo
