Well to start off my name is Andrew, DJ name is Andy H.

I live in Denton and goto UNT, got about 1 year left.

Well to start off ive been seriously DJing for about 1.5 years or so, ive played over in the Greek Isles and now im over in South Australia DJing at some clubs. The music I like to play is house/ electro (icl. dutch/hard)/prog house/trance. I mix on CDJs (no laptop)

I have been messing around with Ableton as far as production goes, but nothing really serious yet....going to start on that soon.

some of my favorite producers right now would be Swedish House Mafia (mainly Ingrosso and Angelo), Laidback Luke, Calvertron, Afrojack, Pryda/Cirez D, etc, etc. (honestly not stuck to one producer but I like good music)

yeah i did Greece last year....now im doing some clubs in Australia. but my home is in Denton.

most people arent exactly close minded but they come here saying "hardstyle/hardcore is the best!" and then they leave either crying or learning that other genres are good too

ahh cool. yeah i like music that you can "dance" too.....more of the Euro club stuff.

I have been in the mood for some good Hard Trance lately. Johan Gielen from the early 2000's comes to mind. Judge Jules also used to produce some good tracks. Charlie could always play a damn good hard trance set when he felt like it. ASYS, is a combination of things but also good. Who can recommend anyone current still playing and/or producing hard trance? I am not interested in hard anthem trance though, that reminds me too much of crappy hardstyle. Besides the old school ALD'ers does everyone know the difference?
