Cool Hi all,
I'm DJ_Awesome. I like the rave atmosphere at afterlife. I grew up in Flower Mound, and I have always loved music. I like practically every flavor of muic. I am spinning house, electro, and trance mainly right now, but my priority genre interests have a history of changing. I am spinning live on stickam: www.stickam.com/dj_awesome , and I just recorded a live set which came out nicely on blip: www.blip.tv/file/3847034 . I look foward to meeting new people and sharing music bidirectionally. Afterlife, Fuck yah!

just warning you now, youre going to probably get flamed a bit on this board
let me explain why

1. you said Rave (we dont rave...)
2. DJ Awesome

make your own inferences as to why this is why you will get flamed but its going to happen
in fact, ive started a little bit just by posting this

DJ Awesome? that is such a bad name that i cant even think of any good jokes to make at its expense, im actually at a loss...
wow...

oh, and welcome to the forum Wink lol

i do have to give you credit for saying rave atmosphere and not calling the legal venue and club that is afterlife, a rave

On a scale of Mr. Awesome to Mike Awesome, how awesome would you say you are?

How Awesome from Mr. Awesome to Mike Awesome...I could not tell you. Check out my set and see for yourself: www.blip.tv/file/3847034
As far as my name, some friends gave it to me and I happen to like it. Also, I was just trying to say something nice about afterlife being a nice atmosphere, but I'll just refrain from that. I look foward to meeting some real music lovers.

Hello Ringel. What styles do you like? I like pretty much everything. I'm into trance, electro, and house right now. If you have time check out my set, I'd like to know what you think.

don't make blanket statements like that David. Just because trance is not popular, and has been played to death in the last few years, doesn't mean there is a lack of good trance dj's and tracks. I totally dig just about anything that Charlie spins. He has never disappointed me in one of his sets.

Welcome to the boards and the club DJ Awesome. I can never download and listen to mixes at work, but if I remember to get on ALD when I get home I might listen to your mix. In the mean time kick off your shoes and stay a while Smile

Hi Steve,
Good trance seems hard to find these days. I used to get alot of good stuff off of irc, mainly Euro Trance. Nice to meet ya.

Yeah, I've all but given up on the trance genre, as it has really lost its charm to me lately. I thoroughly enjoy Simon's sets, though. Smile

i can make all the blanket statements i want if they are well educated... i only like trance if it is very techy... which is what charlie plays mostly.
