Yeah, it's a bit of a stretch, as hardstyle is one of those things where I have to strip down to its base parts in order to enjoy it for any longer than about 5 minutes.

check the ishkur guide. it's awesome because of how massive it is but it's got its flaws. just don't go reading it as fact. it's known for being a bit inaccurate in some parts. for a person that doesn't know much, it's a start.

You need to know what kind of Genre you want first.... You got DnB, DuB, Hardstyle, Trance, Electro House, Psytrance, and many others... Look up on youtube like for example mixes that people have done, they will add a tracklist to it
EXAMPLE:
Electro House: www.youtube.com/watch?v=hmPxyLo0QTw
Hardstyle: www.youtube.com/watch?v=yXamGOxsyaU
DnB (Drumb and Bass): www.youtube.com/watch?v=op6kBOtm1fo
Trance: www.youtube.com/watch?v=q68trCj7_B0
You can go off that. There are many other types out there. Also, if you go to your Itunes Raido and go to Electronica, scroll down till you get to the DI radio stations, They have an amazing track list of different genres.

something i found that was bad ass and got me finding new artist was "WinAmp'
it's an online radio program, it comes with media monkey, and other third party programs.
and i would just type in a genre i want to jam, tune in and write down the tracks that play.
and youtube.
i love to click on playlist that people already made.
type in a genre and click on a playlist.
.. i click next a lot.
but keep in mind that most tracks take a copule minutes to get into the real track.
