Feel free to check out the flyer to get details on what exactly we have in store for you for QUARANTINED III. Plus, the thread in general discussion has links to all of the Live Artists music pages and Youtube videos. The laser show we have planned will be better than anything previously seen @ any Afterlife event. I wont give it all away... But there will be a 15W True White Laser that can create millions of colors... And light your cigarette. The amount of time/work we spend on the deco is above average I would say... I'm there everyday for a week before the show getting it ready. We try to create a new atmosphere and environment for you to lose yourself in. The sound we are getting for this show will definitely kick you where it counts. The lighting and visuals will be top notch as well, as we have multiple crews working together. And, as stated on the flyer, we are attempting to one up ourselves and make this the best Fully FUNKtional event to date.

So as far as the pull factor you are looking for... I would check out the flyer for more details, and maybe listen to some music on Myspace, or check out the video links we have posted. There is plenty to read in the Q3 thread, as far as peoples thoughts and show details, as well.

Alright so, It wasnt so I much that I didnt want to go, but Mike. But regardless, one of my USAF buds told me he'd like to go to a nightclub for a first time. I said dude QIII, you gotta go, but I dont know if I can. He said, I'll take you and pay for both of us, IF you swear it'll be the time of my life. You must be joking...

The military today is *nothing* compared to the level of sheer human psyche breakdown it was 30 years ago.

Speaking from personal experience, having been AFSC 1T231 and my dad prior-service Marine scout sniper. Comparing what he went through in BMT and the cake walk that is USAF BMT...

Generally speaking, ENLISTED military personnel are some of the most enjoyable people to be around.

And I won't even comment on how disrespectful it is to say "Hoo rah or whatever" to the people defending your right to say it.

have you ever seen live performance electronic dance music?>? That is the pull for the night. 7 totally kick ass performers will do live sets. They will generate the music totally live. When a dj gets you dancing and enjoy the vibes from mixing with records and doing it well that is great. When a performer gets you to the same point in a live set, you can feel the music and the emotion that the artist is putting into each beat and note so much more. The end result is nothing short of EPIC!!

I'm only speaking from my personal experiences here. I'm the commander of an armored car company and the majority of my 30 some odd employees are ex military. MOST of the younger guys I have are fresh out. They have that cocky "I'll kick everyones ass" attitude. That may be effective in afganistan at war time but they bring it back home and it can really get you hurt. I've seen it happen.

I think that is just young guys in general. I would bet money that guys exiting the military in their 30's and 40's do not have that general attitude.

Really I meant no disrespect. I come from a navy family. One of my employees and I were just having a conversation about he he felt a sort of bond with other people in his branch of service that others did not understand. Now this guy is not talking about being deployed or anything. I contest that that strong emotional Bond can be shared with other members of society as well. I was really just venting. This guy is always saying stuff like "here comes the marines". No... It's just you. I'm pointing out that I feel those types of things point to problems assimilating back into civilian life. Or maybe I'm just baked and ranting to strangers.
