It was an absolute awesome night. I was really happy to meet Sawka, and enjoy some nasty tunes. I could tell that there was sound issues, but he kept going like a boss.
My friends who went with me freaked for no reason when cops arrived. She apparently wasnt there at CM

I liked the crowd that DnB attracted... It's a more mature group. Less idiots and more people there for the music. |
the majority of dnb fans are way way way more mature than any other dnb genre.
most dnb heads just like to get drunk and jam.
instead of getting soo intoxicated, trading braclets and hopping around like hyperactive bunnys.

I enjoyed it, though it was freezing still an overall great night. Totally worth it. Sawka was AMAZING.

Badass party. I think it's safe to say Sawka blew everyone away with his pure raw talent.
His overflowing energy far makes up than the incredibly difficult reaches of adjusting knobs and FX WHILE playing and the marginal mistakes made.
Is there a place to get any tracks Sawka has made? ? Especially any live ones..
also who got videos so i can show my girlfriend XD
KICKASS SEEING EVERYONE AGAIN THIS WEEKEND!!! SO REFRESHING ! also for meeting 1 or 2 of yall for the first time..:].

Considering he was using a whole new setup he did pretty well. Hopefully next time he comes through he will be even better.

this is the third time i've heard this. it kinda irritates me, cause really, you're supposed to adapt to a setup before taking it to a live audience. live performances are not supposed to be grounds for becoming acclimated to a new system.
i got lots of video, but the sound quality is shit cause it is through my phone and i was littereally 2 feet from the speakers and about 5 feet from him for most of it.

I think it was more of the audio issues that was making him miss the cues rather than his setup. He was using the APC40 which he has had since last year when it came out, and a Korg NanoKontrol (like mine but with knobs and sliders).
The Monitor was smaller than last years which may have hurt him due to reverb off of the back wall, which can throw you off if you hear it while trying to keep on beat.
The new rig is new from last year, but not something he hasn't used before. I should have clarified what I meant on your Facebook, Bean. Also he didn't have a chance to do a proper soundcheck due to his flight being delayed and not getting there in time like he wanted.
But still a bad ass show, He signed my Laptop

well I had a BLAST... many of my very best friends were there.. it was so wonderful to see you all. and to think i almost didn't go!
o ya, and the mature dnb audience comment is sooo true. i prefer the chill, music loving crowd much more to the pill munchers at hhc shows. ((moonstruck, don't kill me.. i love you. :D)
