I am very nice to people most of the time, but when people call me names, especially racist...I tend to get offended.

So, in reality, I have some mexican in me. I also have German, English, Irish, Dutch and Scottish.

In reality, my family goes several years back to being LEGAL immigrants in this country. Most of us were born here. A lot of my family has died to gain freedom for Americans. I know, its not much different than most everybody else's family. But, I know that my relatives did not die just so people could come over here and bomb the shit out of us, fly planes into our buildings and such. Nor did they die so people could ILLEGALLY cross over here and abuse our governmental help. In fact, when my mother was little and my grandma was struggling, there was no WIC to help her out. The number of mexicans was down. They didn't run towns, rent one house and shove 5 families into it or anything.

One reason I do not like wetbacks (ILLEGAL mexican immigrants, most of whom are known for swimming across the border) is because I see them driving Lincolns and Caddies, but their family has to live in the barrios, or the ghetto, or the trailer park. I would rather drive a shit car and live in a decent place, but not all people are like me. I know that they work hard for their money, very hard. But its not right to shove 5 familes of 10 into one house. I don't care who you are.

And, like I said, this is not a debate on racism and I am not a racist. I do not like ILLEGAL immigrants of any type. These are just my political views. And, as Stephen pointed out, I am very passionate about my views.

I already had my say, laughed at Stephen's image of myself, and was done with it.

But, you said something about "we don't want to offend anyone," and that attitude is exactly the same attitude that was carried and now has America as a shit hole. We're so afraid to stand up for what we believe in that we'd rather get run over.

And I am trying to put an end to that attitude and show that it is okay to speak your mind. Its an ammendment, a given freedom - freedom of speech.

As for calling you a racist, I don't recall ever referring to you as "racist". i referred to your comments as racism and ill stand by that. its 2008 and we DO live in America, the most culturally and racially diverse nation on the planet. maybe 40-50 years ago when people like me, that believe the color of a man's skin has absolutely nothing to do with his character, were shat on by people like you, I would have a better understanding of your comments. I would have had to accept living in a land segregated and divided. I would have had to accept the back of the bus and the lack of chance of success. NOw you need to accept the rise of equality because its only getting stronger. Unless you can reinstate the Jim Crow Laws it's pointless hating people that honestly haven't done one single thing to you. I don't know what you're threatening me for, for all you know im nothing more than words on a monitor. you must be super mad at yourself for something.
