I think clubs names are something people use when they became an e-tard club rat...
then they grow up...
But everyone already knows them by it too strongly to use their real name...

"club names" are lamer than lame. if you have a nickname, good for you, i have one too, but if you have to depend on some kids at a club to make up some cutesy name for you to go by at the club because real names are just too bland, know that you fail.

Agreed.
Though not everybody is an e-tard club rat. It's not terribly fair to assume all first timers/younger people are there for 1 thing. (though most are..)
but yeah many ppl get carried with the names...

how about it's a way to feel special.
like, "wow. i have a name now. now i want to be the person everyone knows and wants to see."
a way to fit in.
it's a feeling of being part of something.
i like having a little club name.
but now it's just turned into an online name since i never brake out to dallas.
.... well. even if i do, and when i do make it out. i still use my real name.
but it's still cool to hear my club name everyonce in a while.
i wish i wasn't such a lurker back in the day.
i guess it was because i was trying to get cool with the stupid, stuck up asses that didn't want anyone else but the friends they already had.
but now it's cool.
i actuall enjoy making it out.
bee, link, mack, ringel and of course tyme..
you guys make me feel welcome.
and i'm starting to get to know the crowd..
but for some reason.. i keep getting dragged to insomnia instead.

if you need a club name to "fit in" or feel like you're a part of something, you're doing it wrong. if you feel like you can't make friends at the club without a club name, then you're doing it wrong. if you let people "drag you to insomnia" rather than go somewhere that you know people that will make you feel welcome, you're doing it wrong.
