Oh yeah slightly back on topic, could I give one of you guys a lightshow sometime and get some honest feedback on my style?

Like I said I'm pretty new to this whole scene in essence, (Been listening and messing with electronic for years though..) and I think I'd trust the opinion of some of the members here that seem to have been here for a very long time over those of the random people I do it for.

Producers? Don't know. Like I said I'm new to this scene, I just have always adored electronic..

ill spare you the genre then, and just list a bunch of fav artists and tracks.
More than likely some of the tracks will be messed up since I download them..

infectedmushrooms - hallucinogen,mushimushi, acid killer (basically anything from them though)
ian van dahl (she has a beautiful voice)
tiesto- his mix of adagio is gut wrenching, and i dig most of his tracks...(Touch me,
DJ Doboy - he has some GREAT mixes i can relax in the car with these..
Le Bask - asylum, hardcoriste.. this guy just makes me happy in general. I wish i had more tracks from him.

Aeon (I'm sure you know him. He is my roommates' mom's boyfriend's newphew, and he and his wife came to our house for thanksgiving. He showed me a lot of stuff and said I'm going in a good direction and honestly was a lot of inspiration for me...)

i wish i had more, but these do my fine for now... a lot of the other tracks i have do not have artist names when i downloaded them..so i could not name them for you =/

i kinda just started dabbling with equipment at home and i think the direction i would like to take is something like Psy or Classical trance as I grew up playing piano my whole life..and Psy just kicks ass and makes me tear up. And in the end, I ended up naming genres anyways...

He is on the list for Quarantined at the end of this month. I'm hoping he'll let me back there and show me his setup.

He plays at absinthe lounge for the most part..

I'm still trying to figure that stuff out...mine is kinda funny
i use ableton live to make tracks,virtual dj to mix, a korg kp3 kaoss, and sometimes this synthesizer software I have for my nintendo DS... (surprisingly good synths..) into some crappy old mixer..

But It's all terribly amateur at the moment. I have only been playing with it for a few months. I'm passionate about the music though, and i want to learn as much as I can. I'm totally open to tips, and as much as I can on a straight night I'll just go watch the DJs and wait for after the show to ask them a few questions..

Like i said earlier I asked for ya, Ringel cos I wanted to see you go .. but I got there too late last night.

and also assuming house is totally your style
